National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is an amazing organization that brings together engineers from across the nation with the sole mission being: To increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. The National NSBE Convention invites thousands of the country's brightest minds in engineering academia and the engineering field to provide connection, networking, and professional development.

Our students will have the opportunity to attend workshops, career fairs, and ceremonies for the purpose of empowering them to achieve their wildest dreams. This is also a prime opportunity to connect with employers across the nation and land internship and job opportunities. The Wichita State chapter of NSBE is open to all student and was reactivated in 2021 after COVID and since then we've made major strides toward reestablishing our membership. In 2024 we took 20 students to the 50th Convention in Atlanta, Georgia and 2025 we took 26 to Chicago, Illinois.

This year our goal is to take another delegation of 26 students! We need an additional $10,000 to cover all expenses. Please help us accomplish this goal by donating to our chapter!
