Wichita State Shocker Men's Bowling is the most successful sports program on campus. Since the inception of a college bowling national championship (the Intercollegiate Team Championship), the Shocker men have won 13 national team championships. The next highest school has just 4 championships. The Wichita State Men's Bowling team continues to be a destination program for young aspiring bowlers from around the world. Numerous Shocker men have competed for either the US National Junior Team, or for their home country national junior team, winning dozens of medals over the years. Shocker men have also excelled in the classroom. Last year 11 Shockers were National College Bowling Coaches Association, (NCBCA), Scholar Athlete Award winners earning a 3.50 Accumulative GPA or higher.
